Hi there! I’m the heart behind Teddy Bear Daycare, where learning is sprinkled with love, laughter, and just a little bit of magic. As an experienced caregiver, executive assistant, and creative soul, I wear many hats—but my favorite one is the one with teddy bear ears. 💖 I believe childhood should feel like a cozy storybook—full of wonder, discovery, and gentle guidance. I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing space where little ones can thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally. Inspired by Montessori principles and wrapped in a rainbow of whimsy, I’ve designed this daycare to be a soft place for children (and their grown-ups!) to land. When I’m not planning activities or snuggling teddy bears, you might find me crafting up a new creation, cooking up comfort food, or relaxing with a good book. I’m so excited to meet you and be part of your child’s journey—let’s grow together, one giggle and gummy grin at a time.

Melissa is the most incredible childcare provider and teacher for any one's children--especially my kids. She watched, nurtured, and loved my kids from 3mo to 3 years old. Over the past few years she not only taught my kids manners, social skills, communication skills to include ASL, and other primary life skills, but she also guided me as a nervous, first-time mom through those early years. If we didn't have to move away, I would have a hundred kids knowing Melissa was on my team to create incredibly smart, funny, and capable little humans. We got SO lucky to have Melissa care for our kids.
