During the first year of life, your little one is on a magical journey of growth, wonder, and discovery. At Teddy Bear Daycare, we honor every coo, giggle, roll, and reach as meaningful steps toward important developmental milestones.
From learning to hold their head up and tracking soft lights with curious eyes, to grasping a rattle or giggling at a teddy bear’s gentle “peekaboo,” infants are constantly exploring the world around them. These milestones fall into key areas of development:
Motor Skills – Lifting their heads, rolling over, sitting up, crawling, and eventually pulling to stand—each movement strengthens their little bodies and sparks coordination.
Cognitive Growth – Through sensory play and simple cause-and-effect toys, infants begin to understand how the world works, building problem-solving skills and curiosity.
Language & Communication – Those sweet babbles and coos are the early sounds of future storytelling! We encourage verbal development through songs, story time, and loving one-on-one interactions.
Social-Emotional Development – With responsive caregiving and gentle routines, babies build trust, form attachments, and begin to express feelings through facial expressions and gestures.
Our infant program is designed to support these milestones at each baby’s own pace, with personalized attention, Montessori-inspired activities, and a cozy environment full of love, laughter, and little teddy bear friends cheering them on.

Two’s and Three’s
🐾✨ Big Steps, Brave Hearts – Developmental Milestones for 2–3yrs
At Teddy Bear Daycare, we know that ages two and three are a time of bold leaps, big feelings, and blossoming independence. These little explorers are curious, expressive, and constantly discovering what they can do—physically, emotionally, and socially.
Our cozy, Montessori-inspired classrooms and whimsical play spaces are thoughtfully designed to nurture your child’s rapid development while letting their imagination (and teddy bear sidekick) run wild.
Here are some of the beautiful milestones we guide and celebrate:
Gross Motor Skills – Running, climbing, dancing, and hopping—your little one is building strength, coordination, and confidence with every joyful move.
Fine Motor Development – Tiny hands learn to grasp crayons, turn pages, string beads, and pour water—laying the foundation for writing, independence, and everyday tasks.
Language Explosion – From simple sentences to storytelling, their vocabulary grows daily. We support this with songs, story time, conversations, and pretend play with our teddy bear pals.
Social & Emotional Growth – Sharing, taking turns, naming feelings, and learning to play cooperatively all begin to blossom. These toddlers are learning to be part of a community.
Cognitive Skills – Sorting, counting, puzzles, matching games—our little learners are developing memory, focus, and problem-solving skills through hands-on, joyful discovery.
